Account Executive

The Mission

The BLITZ Account Executive is responsible for providing support to the Brand Management group and demonstrating leadership that contributes to highly productive, harmonious client-agency relationships. 

The Account Executive reports to a Management Supervisor and works closely with the Project Management team and other agency disciplines – strategy, creative, production, technology -  to create and execute marketing programs across a brand’s ecosystem. The Account Executive serves a key role in facilitating communications and processes across agency relationships, both internally and externally.

The Account Executive will be expected to support the agency’s vision and philosophy and develop a good working knowledge of communications and digital strategy as well as the processes associated with all forms of digital production.

Your Responsibilities

Build trusted relationships with clients in order to enable successful day-to-day interactions
Oversees plan development, execution, and follow-up (contributes, where appropriate.)
Keep team members informed of pertinent account information including scope of work, schedules, deadlines and other client context

Knows when and how to escalate potential problems
Monitors critical project hand-offs
Stay abreast and keep your colleagues informed of industry news. Perform competitive tracking as needed.
Contribute to effective presentations including supporting the design, research and build of Keynote presentations
Assist in preparing and delivering assignment briefings and project kickoffs with appropriate team members
Manage smooth, error-free financial operations between client and agency, including invoice backup and ongoing billing tracking
Facilitate job starts/change orders as necessary with Management Supervisor support/oversight
Maintain relationships with external agency partners for day-to-day contact
Responsible for weekly/monthly project status reports
Sets up meetings, includes the correct people, and provides accurate agendas and precise, actionable meeting notes

Required Experience

BA from an accredited school
2+ years working at a traditional or digital agency
Technical aptitude/proficiency
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Sound judgment and interpersonal skills
